Heilongjiang Qixingshan National Forest Park is located at the northern foot of the Wanda Mountains, in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province, at the junction of Huanan County, Jixian County, and Shuangyashan City. It is known as the "first peak" of the Three Rivers Plain. Qixing Mountain Forest Park was established in 1992 and is a national AAA level scenic spot. Heilongjiang Qixingshan National Forest Park is a symbol of Jixian County and the pride of the people of Jixian.
The planned total area of Qixing Mountain National Forest Park is 3335.5 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of up to 98%. Qixing Peak is named after seven different shaped Shilazi, with the main peak Lijian Peak at an altitude of 852.7 meters. The other peaks are Hutou Peak, Camel Peak, Juxian Peak, Xiannv Peak, Baoyin Peak, and Langya Peak.
The park remains maintain a natural and ancient, primitive, and magical landscape, with complex and diverse terrain and abundant animal and plant resources. Climbing to the summit gives a sense of overlooking the small mountains. Seven peaks, each occupying one place, are lifelike. The Seven Star Mountains and Rivers are rich in body, with countless small streams in the mountains converging into the Hadami River. The water surface is sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, and the water flow is sometimes fast and sometimes slow, flowing through 21 large and small ponds and a large reservoir at the foot of the mountain, and finally flowing into the Songhua River. Qixing Mountain was the secret camp and rear base of the Northeast Anti Japanese League at that time, with sites such as the Arsenal, Clothing Factory, and Military Cadre School being the most representative sites of the Anti Japanese League. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, six armies of the Northeast Anti Japanese Alliance shifted to Seven Star Mountain, where they wrote a magnificent and touching chapter. Famous anti Japanese generals such as Kim Il sung and Li Guanglin also led the anti Manchu and anti Japanese campaigns, leaving behind touching stories. On June 21, 2012, at the signing ceremony of the 23rd Harbin International Trade Fair's Heilongjiang Province Cultural Industry Key Project, the Qixingshan Tourism Industry Project was signed as the only cultural industry project in Shuangyashan City. At the signing ceremony for the cultural industry of the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province at the Harbin International Trade Fair, Jixian County and Heilongjiang Wensheng Cultural Investment Group signed a joint filming agreement for the large-scale TV series "Northeast Anti Japanese Alliance". While building Qixing Mountain in Jixian County into a unique red tourism circle in the east of Heilongjiang Province, the general goal of rapid and harmonious development of "political civilization, material civilization and spiritual civilization" will be achieved. As the location of the logistics base of the Northeast Anti Japanese League, the county committee and government of Jixian County have implemented an overall development project to turn Qixing Mountain into a revolutionary education base, film and television shooting base, and leisure resort for the Chinese Anti Japanese League. The forest tourism market is gradually expanding.
In recent years, governments at all levels have increased their investment in the construction of the Qixingshan National Forest Park, gradually transforming it into a comprehensive forest park that integrates forest (geological) sightseeing, leisure vacation, science education, and anti Japanese cultural red education. The forest experience base project, as an important development direction of forest tourism, is increasingly receiving high attention from the country, province, city, and county. On April 18, 2019, Qixingshan National Forest Park was selected as a national key construction project "Forest Experience Project" through expert evaluation, and is the only forest park selected in Heilongjiang Province. The forest experience base project, which started construction in Qixingshan National Forest Park in 2020, has been listed as one of the "Top 100 Projects" in Heilongjiang Province. In 2020, the Shuangyashan Municipal Party Committee and Government designated the Qixingshan National Forest Park Forest Experience Base Project as a "supporting point for the city's tourism industry".
The forest health project has a total investment of 310 million yuan and covers a total area of approximately 72.85 hectares. It is divided into 11 sub projects:

11. Infrastructure repairs include the renovation of 3200 meters of old boardwalks and the construction of 2000 meters of new boardwalks.
In August 2020, construction began on the outdoor forest camping site, tourist service center, and ecological parking lot project.
The outdoor forest campsite is equipped with multi-function performance square, 5D cinema, KTV, bar, self driving camp, recreational vehicle camp, forest cabin accommodation area, courtyard accommodation area, mobile accommodation area, tent hotel accommodation area, camping tent area, landscape square, bicycle path and other contents.
There are a total of 200 parking spaces in the ecological parking lot, including 20 large car parking spaces and 180 small car parking spaces.
The waterfront performance square is located in the front area of the campsite, covering an area of 1100 square meters with a diameter of 50 meters. It is mainly made of granite and is used to hold various activities such as small-scale artistic performances, bonfire parties, outdoor weddings, etc. It is an ideal place for collective activities such as tourism teams, outdoor enthusiasts, and donkey enthusiasts.
There are a total of 48 car campsites and 26 leisure platforms in the camp. Car camping tourism has emerged with the development of self driving tourism. Generally, dedicated leisure and entertainment tourism buses are used, and the car camping location and leisure platform in Qixingshan Forest Park fully consider the camping needs of self driving tourists. The infrastructure is improved to ensure that tourists experience the joy of camping.
The landscape square covers an area of 1144 square meters and is equipped with children's amusement facilities. Nowadays, many families choose parent-child tours to take their children out to see the natural scenery and interact with children. Children's playground is also an essential supporting facility in the park.

The landscape fountain is divided into three parts, with a total length of 140 meters. The fountain features a simple and lively, staggered height, distinct layers, grand and ever-changing momentum, bringing visitors different and beautiful experiences with the constantly changing water scenery. In the design of the water type, the overall effect of the fountain was taken into account, achieving the fusion of water and lighting, and creating mutual radiance.
The main fountain is located in the center of the fountain pool, and is the highest water type in the fountain. A majestic water column rises from the ground, soaring into the sky in an instant, symbolizing the brave unity and upward movement of the Chinese people.
The water curtain fountain overlaps with the main fountain, mainly through a high-pressure water pump and a specially designed water curtain generator, allowing water to be sprayed at high speed from top to bottom, successfully forming a huge screen after atomization, with a total length of 20 meters. At the same time, a dedicated projector is used to project a specially made video onto the screen, forming a water screen movie. The Red Anti Japanese League Experience Hall has a building area of 4292.46 square meters and is the first professional commemorative venue in Jixian County that integrates the display of revolutionary history, red culture promotion, and research activities. From 1936 to 1938, there were facilities such as an arms factory, a clothing factory, a military and political cadre school, and a rear hospital built successively. It was an important anti Japanese rear base in the early Northeast region of China.
